So I'm leaving in 5 days and i really can't believe it. here i am sitting on the couch at 5:26am, and having no intention of going to bed. funny how that happens 5 days before going half way across the world. go figure. i just can't help sitting here thinking of trains, planes, food, people, culture and how the hell i'll survive it all on my own. i can do it, and im ready, but let's be honest - it will be one hell of a ride.
i haven't actually packed yet; but i'm pretty much ready to go. i bought my flight, my visa to get into france, and i have a place to live. done and done. did i mention i am in the heart of lille? or that my room has a balcony? just another plus of living overseas i guess. and the room was cheaper. point for me.
i put together a list of friends ill have overseas...and turns out i will have friends in 10 different countries in europe. yay for connections. i plan on using em all. i would be crazy not to right? of course.
well im glad i have this blog thing sorted out. im sure ill write back in a panic in a couple days. until then.
